Made from 1/4" thick aluminum plate, our dash plates are designed to hold two 5" diameter and four 2 5/8" diameter Auto Meter gauges. While gauges made by other manufacturers may work, we have not fit them to our plates, we cannot make claims as to their fitment.

Styled to mimic the factory 'aircraft panel' look of the gauge cluster found in some early Foxes, the 79-86 Mustang and Capri panel allows you to remove gauges without removing the entire plate.  Each 5" diameter gauge can be removed individually, and each set of two gauges on the sides come out on their own as well.

Some removal of plastic behind the dash plate is necessary for gauge clearance. This cannot be seen once the plate is installed. Pictures in our photo gallery show where the removal of plastic must be done, but this may vary depending on the gauges chosen for installation.

Included with the gauge plates are colored lights behind the indicator light area as well as installation instructions and tips. We do not give instructions on installation of particular gauges. You must follow the instructions given to you by the manufacturer of your gauges.
 

Due to the varying preferences in finish that individuals may have, we only offer three styles of 79-86 plate off-the-shelf.  Plates are available as bare aluminum, anodized black, or anodized clear.  You can easily create brushed, polished, and other finishes on your own.
